On Saturday, October 12, the River-to-River Trail Society will offer its second guided hike of the Fall, 2019 hiking season, at Panther Den Wilderness in Union County. This hike is free and open to the public, but participants will be expected to sign a waiver of liability. Hikers will meet at 10:00 a.m., at Goreville City Park, 313 West Main Street (Goreville Road), in Goreville, Illinois. This will be a hike of moderate difficulty, intended for people in good health who have done some walking. Hiking sticks and boots or sturdy shoes are strongly recommended.
