Saturday November 15, 2025 Hike Summary

On a warm Saturday November 15th, we met just a few hundred feet North of the Camp Cadiz campgrounds. Sam Morales was our hike leader. We had a total of 16 hikers, including 3 new hikers. We set off West down a lane, then soon encountered a path that was getting overgrown, with little equine usage. We then broke off the path Northwards, and we were off trail most of the day. Most of the leaves had fallen, so even if there was a trail, it would have been difficult to find. We did find a “dry” waterfall or 2, and ate lunch and took the group picture at 1 of them. Sam also led us to the “horizontal” window that is quite unique. We hiked just a bit over 4 miles on a Very warm November Saturday.

We Only have 2 hikes left…the Saturday of Thanksgiving weekend, led by Steve Melville, meeting at Rim Rock at the usual time, and then 1 last hike 2 weeks after that, skipping the 2nd shotgun deer season.

C’mon out and Join Us.

Until then, “See ya’ll on the Trail

Happy Thanksgiving,
