The River-to-River Trail Society announces its fourth guided hike of the Spring, 2019 hiking season, on Saturday, April 6, at Kinkaid Lake, in Jackson County. The hike is free and open to the public.  Hikers should meet at 10:30 a.m., at the Trailhead at the north end of Spillway Road, which runs north off Route 149, just east of Route 3 and about five miles west of Murphysboro, Illinois. This is a moderate hike of about ten miles in length. Boots or sturdy shoes and hiking sticks are strongly recommended. Hikers should bring their own water and a snack. No dogs, please.
