At its Annual General Meeting and picnic on Saturday, June 1, the River-to-River Trail Society will elect officers for the 2019 to 2020 year. The nominating committee has proposed the following slate of officers:

President: Bill Gilmour, Metropolis

Vice President: Brian DeNeal, Junction 

Secretary: Gillum Ferguson, Harrisburg

Treasurer: Mart Watson, Eldorado

President Emeritus: Eric Johnson, Ridgeway

Board of Directors: Todd Carr (Elizabethtown); Chris Drone Eldorado); Vicki Ferguson (Harrisburg); Shawn Gossman (Hurst); Bob Mulcahy (Carterville); Marcus Owens (Benton); Fred Scott (Eldorado).   Nominations may also be made from the floor.  All members of the Society present at the meeting are eligible to vote.

The River-to-River Trail Society will hold its annual meeting and picnic on Saturday, June 1, 2019. Meet at the Patton Pavilion near the north end of the City Park in Harrisburg. (This is the same place as 2018.) The event will begin at about 10:00 a.m., with a speaker at 10:30 and picnic lunch to follow. The Society will provide bratwurst, hot dogs, and buns, soft drinks and water. Those attending should bring a salad, a side dish, or a dessert. For information or directions, call (630) 470-7692.
